The country list

Shopify Payments works when the business is in a country on Shopify’s list. That page, read on 16 October 2026, includes Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and a set of others. Pakistan is not among them. Shopify writes that if your country is not listed, or if your business category is not supported, you use a third-party payment provider.

The payout-currency table for Shopify Payments is also built from store location, and Pakistan is not a row on it. The currency a Pakistan store settles is the currency the provider you activate agrees to. This page does not invent a payout fee.

What to turn on

Open Settings, then Payments. Activate a provider that appears for your store. Shopify’s payment-gateways page can be filtered by country. The names in a global unfiltered list are not a promise that each one works for a store in Pakistan. Use the filtered list and the admin.

A manual payment method is the other path in the TechnoSpike setup. You tell the customer how the money is collected, and you mark the order paid when it arrives. Place a test order either way. Checkout also needs a shipping rate, which is covered in fulfillment.

Pay-by-bank at Fena

Qasim Malik has built Fena’s plugin and backend since 2020. Fena is pay-by-bank: the shopper approves the payment in their banking app, and the money lands in the merchant’s account. The Shopify plugin is one of eight checkouts. The company site is fena.co.

That plugin is his work. It is separate from the Shopify Payments product, which is the one with the country list above. Install a payment app only from the provider you have an account with.
