Set it at the start

The store currency lives with the store address and the timezone. Shopify’s setup page lists those fields together. Pick PKR if the prices you type are rupees.

A price of 1999 in a store set to US dollars is 1999 dollars. The currency symbol follows the store currency, so set the currency before you type a catalog.

Changing it later

Shopify limits currency changes after you have orders, because old orders would be hard to read. Decide before the test order, not after a month of sales.

Multi-currency is a different switch

Shopify Payments can show prices in a customer’s local currency in some countries. That feature belongs to Shopify Payments. Pakistan is not on the Shopify Payments supported-country list, so that switch is not the way a Pakistan store prices its goods.

If you later sell to another country, you can still show one store currency and one shipping zone per region.

The TechnoSpike shop

The shop on this website prices goods in rupees and says the price includes tax. That checkout is separate from a Shopify store. A case such as the ones in Phone Cases uses the TechnoSpike shop, not Shopify Payments.

Copy the habit, not the platform: one currency, written on the price, decided before the first order.
