What dropshipping means
Shopify’s help page says dropshipping is a way to sell products without storing the inventory or shipping the products yourself. The products come from suppliers who ship to your customers. Those suppliers can be manufacturers, warehouses, or someone making the product at home. Shopify also points stores to print-on-demand apps and dropshipping apps.
Read that page before you install an app. The same section asks you to learn the features, the drawbacks, and the path an order takes. This article stays inside that description.
What happens to an order
Shopify describes the path this way. The customer places the order on your store. The order details go to the supplier. The supplier picks, packs, and ships to the customer. You do not hold that stock in your own room. You still own customer service and the tracking update.
A bundle is simpler when every item comes from the same supplier. Shopify’s product guide says that avoids a split shipment. The fulfillment settings are on How to Fulfill a Shopify Dropshipping Order.
The Pakistan store around it
Dropshipping sits on a normal Shopify store. Create it with How to Start Shopify in Pakistan and the course playlist. Shopify Payments’ country list does not include Pakistan, so the payment step is a third-party provider or a manual method. The detail is Shopify Payments in Pakistan.
Qasim Malik records that course and builds pay-by-bank plugins at Fena. The gaming shop on techno-spike.com/shop is a separate checkout on this website. Its paid orders use EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or NayaPay, and delivery is free on those paid orders. That shop is not a Shopify template you copy click for click.
Price and a test order
Set a price that covers the supplier’s charge and the shipping you show at checkout. This page does not name a profit, an ad budget, or a monthly income. Those numbers depend on the supplier invoice and on the order you actually place.
Place one test order to an address in Pakistan. Watch the supplier’s packing, the tracking message, and the day it arrives. Publish a delivery line only after that parcel has a real date. Supplier checks are on How to Choose a Shopify Dropshipping Supplier.
Frequently asked questions
What is Shopify dropshipping?
Shopify describes dropshipping as selling products without storing the inventory or shipping the products yourself. A supplier ships the order to your customer. You still handle customer service and order tracking.
Can I dropship on Shopify from Pakistan?
Yes. Start the Shopify store with the TechnoSpike setup guide, then connect a supplier you have checked. Shopify Payments is not on the Pakistan country list, so checkout uses a third-party provider or a manual payment method. Place a test order to an address in Pakistan before you promise a delivery time.
How much money does Shopify dropshipping make?
This page does not state an income. The price you charge has to cover what the supplier charges you and the shipping you show the customer. A test order shows the real cost.
Does the supplier own the customer?
The order is placed on your store. The supplier packs and ships. Shopify says you remain responsible for customer service and tracking.
Where is the course?
Complete Shopify Full Course – First Time in Pakistan is on the TechnoSpike channel. Lecture 1 is How to Setup a Store.
Store first, then the supplier
Open the Shopify store, then choose a supplier you can test. The course is Lecture 1 and the playlist.
