Order confirmation
The confirmation is the email that proves the order exists. Shopify’s notification list includes it. It should show the items, the total, and the store name.
Open the template and remove any line that promises a delivery speed you have not measured.
Shipping confirmation
This mail goes out when the order is fulfilled and you add a tracking number. Adding that number is How to Add Tracking on Shopify.
If you fulfill without tracking, the customer still gets a shipping email on many setups, with less useful detail. Add the number the supplier gave you.
Who it is from
The sender name should be the store name. The address should be one you can receive replies on. A no-reply address means the customer writes you somewhere else anyway.
The primary domain affects links in the mail. Set it in Shopify Domains.
Read a real one
Place the test order in How to Place a Shopify Test Order with an inbox you open. Check the subject, the total, and the link back to the store.
If the mail is in spam, the store email or domain is the thing to fix, not the customer’s habits.
